Let's get designated pool time

Dear officers:

What do we need to do to get a designated pool time with enough room for our team to practice? And is anything currently being done?  I was president of the team a few years ago and I know how busy and frustrating it can be, but we have got to do something about the current situation. Who needs to be contacted: Club sports? The rec center? The university? Do we need to write a letter? Do we need to sign a petition? Do we need to raise money so we can pay for space or lifeguards? Do we need to find another place to swim? WTF!

Please keep the team posted on what is going on and if you need any of us to do something. Frustrations are running high, and it is only going to get worse as the season progresses and people get serious about training for nationals.

I as well as the other officers and wrote letters and had numoreous discussions with Aaron Harris and because MOBY is for swim team only and the rec center is closed they will not give us any other pool space until the rec center opens over springbreak.

I think it's excellent open water practice. Since in a race you are going to get kicked, punched, swamped with water when you go to breathe, ran over, be the runner over, etc being crowded in practice might not be such a bad thing... CSU by being irritating is really giving us a chance to become champion group race swimmers.  :-P

Way to find a positive in what would usually be looked at as a negative situation :)
